About the village
Coddington is a small village two miles east of Newark. The population is growing, with new housing developments, and there are approximately 2000 inhabitants. It is worth noting that both the village hall and the community centre offer a wide range of leisure, social and community programmes and activities, which draw people from within the parish and from out of the area. Events in the village are well supported and well publicised locally through the Coddington Community News, which is sponsored by the Parish Council and supported by all the village organisations. The village has an active football and cricket club with facilities just outside the village. |
